Leadcore is immensely strong with a breaking strain of around 45lbs and with its high abrasion resistance, it is ideal for coping with heavy weed and snags, while the special two-tone weave provides excellent camouflage.
ESP - Hook Ring Swivels
The Hook Ring Swivel is ideally mounted on hook shanks or for D-rigs and in combination with the free movement of the swivel improves presentation and hooking potential.
ESP - Hi-Perfomance Uni-Link Swivels
On Chod Rigs, in particular, the swivel’s ability to spin round and help the hook catch hold in the carp’s mouth is of critical importance. These can also be used to improve braided or lighter mono hooklinks, reducing tangles and ensuring that rigs lie flat on the bottom.
ESP - Hi-Perfomance Carp Swivels
There are lots of very similar looking swivels on the market but many of them are of totally inferior quality. ESP's Hi-Performance Carp Swivels are produced in Japan to exacting engineering standards providing a smooth rotation even under pressure. These have no rough edges or angles and are ultra smooth and finished in a pearl black metallised coating. They have a 50lb test rating and each is formed from round section wire.
ESP - Helicopter Rig Sleeves
These Helicopter Rig Sleeves are produced in an extra tough, flexible polymer in weedy green, camo brown and choddy silt. The semi-translucent effect makes them less obtrusive than solid coloured components. These sleeves are a snug streamlined fit over ESP Clip Links.
ESP - Helicopter Chod Rig Sleeves
The flexible silicone tube is mounted onto a soft sleeve which houses the lead retaining clip and provides a neat, streamlined system. You might wonder why this component is comprised of two parts, rather than being moulded as one piece. Well, the thermoplastic rubber used to mould the clip link retaining sleeve is malleable yet tough and is perfect for sleeving the clip link yet does not have the soft flexibility and inherent ‘spring’ of good old silicone tube so ESP have combined the two materials to create the perfect shock absorber buffer sleeve for chod rig work. The silicone tube can be shortened if required, as can the clip retaining sleeve if the leader is tied directly to the lead loop.
