For use with running rigs or using marker floats this Shok bead is designed in its shape to prevent tangles.
The humble swivel completes the whole rig set up and since it is almost the last connection between you and the carp it needs to be reliable.
A tiny ring swivel was needed to complete the range and is ideal for creating a hinge in a stiff pop-up rig, made famous by the great Terrence Hearn himself. That rig is regarded by many as a big fish rig and is usually fished as a single bait or over small amounts of offerings.
These clever swivels have been designed to make chod-rig fishing even easier. They feature a rounded crook rather than a conventional eye, into which you can clip a looped chod. To create the loop, you can either tie an overhand loop or crimp a loop into the end. These loops can then be 'clicked' into the loop and won't come out unless you want to change a rig. The swivels are PTFE coated, which prevents light glinting off, potentially spooking feeding carp.
