This two-part bead is designed to be used when fishing with the naked Chod rig. The bead allows your swivel to slide up and down your main line or leader easily, ensuring the swivel doesn’t damage your line.
Avid Carp - Naked Chod Beads
These Outline Chod Beads are perfect for use on naked setups when using a Chod rig or helicopter directly on your main line, or a fluorocarbon leader. Simply slide the Grip Stop onto your line using then pop the bead over the stop.
Avid Carp - Leadcore Chod Beads
These Outline Chod beads are perfect for use on leadcore and unleaded leaders when setting up the Chod rig or a helicopter presentation. Simply slide the Grip Stop onto a Splicing needle and carefully push it onto your leadcore leader. Finally pop the bead over the stop.

Designed to provide a Buffer between Rig and Lead, to provide a streamlined Helicopter Rig. Has a tapered section to accept Ring Swivels, so you play carp against the Heli Buffer during the fight.
